Stainless steel is durable, shatter-resistant, hygienic, dishwasher-safe, and contains no chemicals that can leach. Plastic tableware wears out faster and can release microplastics—with stainless steel, you don't have that problem.

No, stainless steel is not microwave-safe. It is suitable for both hot and cold dishes and often retains temperature longer than plastic or silicone.

Both the stainless steel and silicone casings can be cleaned in the dishwasher or with warm water and mild dish soap. Avoid steel wool and harsh cleaning agents to preserve the surface.
